Accessibility

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is a target rather than a certificate — if something here doesn’t work for you, that is a defect and we want to hear about it.

What’s been done

• Every photograph has alt text describing what is actually in the frame.
• The whole site is keyboard operable, with a visible focus ring and a skip link to the content.
• Body text meets AA contrast against the page background; large display text meets AA Large.
• Animation — the moving photo rails, the scroll reveals, the hover transitions — stops entirely when your system is set to reduce motion. The rails become ordinary scrollable strips.
• The before/after comparison is a real slider control, so it works with a keyboard and a screen reader.
• Headings are in order, landmarks are labelled, and the star ratings are announced once as text rather than as five separate stars.
• Text reflows without a horizontal scrollbar down to 320px wide and up to 200% zoom.

Known limits

• The embedded Google map is Google’s component, and we do not control its accessibility. The address and a plain directions link are given next to it everywhere it appears, so you never need the map itself.

The Yelp profile lists the business as ASL proficient. For anything else about access to the shop itself, call (323) 665-6110 before you come and you will get a straight description of what the space is like.
