Zipper repair and replacement
The slider, the teeth, or a whole new zip sewn into a boot, a bag or a jacket.
Most zippers that 'break' aren't broken — the slider has worn open and stopped pulling the teeth together, and a new slider fixes it in minutes. Robert does that at the counter, often without charging for it.
When the tape has torn or teeth are missing, the zip gets replaced: unpicked out of the boot shaft, bag panel or jacket front, and a new one sewn in. On branded pieces the original pull is kept and re-fitted to the new zip so it still looks like the piece it came from.

Can you fix a zipper while I wait?

Will a new zip match the original?
The tape and teeth are matched as closely as stock allows, and the original pull is kept where there is one — that's how a Doc Martens zip was replaced without it being obvious.
