Belt repair and resizing

Shortened, re-holed, re-buckled — usually while you wait.

Belts are the quickest job on the bench. Shortening from the buckle end keeps the taper and the stitching intact; new holes are punched to match the spacing of the originals rather than drilled anywhere; a broken keeper gets re-sewn in matching thread.

Buckles come off and go back on, including on belts where the original was riveted rather than screwed. A customer brought her husband's belt in and it was fixed on the spot.

What the job covers

  • Shortened from the buckle end
  • New holes punched to the original spacing
  • Buckles replaced or re-fitted
  • Keepers and loops re-sewn
  • Ends re-finished and edge-painted
  • Stitching repaired along the length

Bring it in if…

  • The belt is a size too big
  • The buckle prong has torn out the hole
  • The keeper has come off
  • The end is fraying or curling

Love coming here. Very friendly service, convenient location, and great prices, highly recommended! I've been coming here for several years now and continue to come back because it's always a great experience. Their quality is unmatched whether it's everyday shoes, belts, handbags, or more delicate items that require extra attention to detail. They are true master craftsmen, and the work never disappoints.
