Luggage and travel bag repair
Handles, zips, corners and straps on cases, duffels and backpacks.

Luggage takes damage in transit in predictable places — the handle mount, the zip run along the top, and the corners. All of those are stitched and riveted repairs rather than replacements.
The odder cases are welcome too: a vintage Gibson Dove guitar case came in with a broken handle and went out repaired, fast and for less than the customer expected to spend in LA.

What people said after this exact job.
“Robert was able to repair a broken guitar case handle for me on a vintage Gibson Dove case. Really nice work and super quick turnaround for a lot less than I thought I would spend in LA.”
“I came in less than 30 minutes before closing time, and Robert repaired the concealed double zipper on my favorite backpack right in front of me. The zipper was having two different problems — one slider had gone off the track entirely, and the other was immediately coming undone if I didn't zip it very slowly. He fixed both in about three minutes, and then wouldn't take payment! He just said to come back for a zipper replacement if I had the same problem again. It was the best and kindest service I have received anywhere in years.”
“The outcome was perfect: both two leather fanny packs with their notoriously failing zippers as well as some boots were perfectly repaired. The service was not particularly fast but since I had no timeframe, it didn't matter to me. What counts was the professionalism, the skills, and the nice service.”
“Robert repaired a few of my platform goth boots with amazing expertise and detail! Even the non-leather ones which are cheaper and the platform soles had come off. I don't have a before picture but he repaired a doc marten zipper that you can't tell the difference from the original, keeping their branded zipper and re-soling my prized everyday boots.”
